one little turkey, better run away. for today is thanksgiving day.
today in class i taught my kids a brief history of thanksgiving, about things like stuffing and gravy and turkey and mashed potatoes, and about being thankful.
and no matter how many spitballs i have to dodge, or how many times i have to ask them to put away their mobile phones, i am nevertheless thankful for being a volunteer, doing my best to teach english to these kids. and hopefully, one day, they'll be thankful for my presence.
